Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser and reads back on later visits. Related technologies — local storage, session storage — work similarly and are covered by this policy too.

This policy lists every cookie OfficeSyncPro uses, what each is for and how long it lasts. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data more broadly.

This marketing website sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics tag, no advertising pixel, no session identifier and no third-party tracker on these pages. Browsing them, reading this policy and clicking through to the pricing page all happen without anything being written to your browser.

That is also why you are not being asked for cookie consent here: there is nothing to consent to. If that ever changes, we will add a consent banner before the first cookie is set, and update this page.

The application at app.officesyncpro.com is a different matter — it cannot keep you signed in without cookies. All of them are set by us, on that domain, and each is either strictly necessary or functional. None are used for tracking or advertising.

Two parts of the experience are hosted by other companies on their own domains, and they set their own cookies there. We do not control them and cannot read them.

• Microsoft, on login.microsoftonline.com, during sign-in. These are the same cookies your organisation already relies on for Microsoft 365, and they are governed by Microsoft’s privacy statement.
• Stripe, on its hosted checkout and billing portal — typically __stripe_mid and __stripe_sid, used for fraud prevention. They are governed by Stripe’s cookie policy. No Stripe script runs on this marketing site.

• Strictly necessary. Without these the Service cannot function: you could not sign in or stay signed in. They do not require consent.
• Functional. These remember a choice you made, so the product behaves sensibly. Blocking them degrades the experience but does not break sign-in.
• Analytics and performance. We currently set none.
• Advertising and tracking. We set none, we run no ad-network pixels, and we do not build profiles for advertising anywhere on our sites.

Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies — usually under Settings → Privacy. You can block them for a specific site, block all third-party cookies, or clear everything already stored.

Be aware of the trade-off: the cookies above marked strictly necessary are how the app knows who you are. Blocking cookies for app.officesyncpro.com means you will not be able to sign in — you will be returned to the login screen after every attempt. Blocking them for officesyncpro.com costs you nothing, since we set none here.

Signing out clears your session cookies immediately, and disconnecting the Outlook integration is handled separately in the app — see the Privacy Policy.

Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” header or a Global Privacy Control signal. There is still no agreed standard for how sites should respond to DNT, so we do not act on it specifically — but the point is moot here: we run no tracking or advertising cookies to switch off, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

If we add a cookie, we will list it here and update the date at the top before it goes live. If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary or functional, we will ask for your consent first.
